Tristream Energy is a midstream operating company that provides gas gathering and processing services to producers from our facilities in East Texas. We process, treat and sell natural gas, natural gas liquids, condensate and sulfur. We also have special technical expertise in handling gas streams with impurities like carbon dioxide, nitrogen and hydrogen sulfide. We currently operate in East Texas in Henderson, Van Zandt, Rains, Wood, Hopkins, and Franklin Counties.
At Tristream Energy, we are focused on growing our existing business and optimizing asset performance. Additionally, we are prepared to invest in new midstream opportunities in all regions of the domestic U.S.
Tristream Energy is privately owned by Haddington Ventures, L.L.C. Haddington Ventures, L.L.C., is a Houston-based private equity firm that invests in midstream oil and natural gas companies and electric generation, transmission, and distribution companies, with a focus on natural gas storage, gathering and processing and other midstream energy activities.

Meet Our Team
Our leadership team brings decades of industry experience and hands-on engineering and operations understanding to the business at hand.
Mr. Waguespack has worked in the energy industry since 1980. Prior to joining Tristream, he was a Senior Vice President with El Paso Corporation. His career includes extensive and progressive experience in the areas of accounting, finance, strategic planning and mergers and acquisitions.
From 1980 to 2012, Mr. Waguespack held various executive management positions in accounting and finance with El Paso Corporation, Coastal Corporation and Nicklos Oil & Gas Company. Prior to 1980, Mr. Waguespack was employed by Touche Ross & Co where he worked in the audit department on clients in a variety of industries. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Texas and a member of the Houston Chapter of the Texas Society of CPA’s.
Mr. Waguespack earned his BBA from the University of Houston in 1977.
Mr. Major has over 34 years of energy industry experience in upstream, midstream, LPG/NGL marketing and supply, business and project development, acquisitions, P&L, service operations leadership, and oil field facilities engineering and construction.
Mr. Major began his career with Texaco Inc. in New Orleans, Louisiana spanning nineteen years, in both upstream development and midstream business. Following Chevron’s acquisition of Texaco by Chevron in 2001, Mr. Major joined T.D. Williamson Inc. (TDW), a private, international pipeline services business based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. During his nearly ten year tenure with TDW as Vice President, he led three separate international operating units, the company triple in size and profitability.
Mr. Major joined Crosstex Energy (now Enlink), a public, midstream services MLP in 2011 as Vice President of NGL, Condensate, and Crude Business Development and was instrumental in the acquisition of Ohio Oil Gathering company. Mr. Major then joined Tristream in November 2014 as Senior Vice President, and leads their liquids business portfolio.
Mr. Major holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Michigan Technological University, an MBA from Oklahoma State University, and is a registered Professional Engineer.
Mr. Espino has over thirty years of midstream industry experience, specifically in managing diverse midstream assets across large geographical areas. His other areas of expertise include engineering, operations and project management of gas and liquid pipelines, cryogenic and lean oil plants, amine treating systems, gas compression and dehydration, fractionation, sulfur recovery, truck and rail loading, and underground storage caverns.
Mr. Espino has held multiple management positions in midstream companies, including Eagle Rock Energy Partners, where he was, most recently, the Vice President of Midstream Operations. He spent much of his professional career with Targa Resources, where he spent 25 years of progressive responsibility, overseeing projects among a large family of midstream companies, including Dynegy Midstream, Trident NGL, Inc., Occidental Petroleum and Cities Service Oil & Gas.
Mr. Espino has held a project management professional (PMP) certification since 2005. He earned his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
